Assigned by local government of Breda (the Netherlands), Alice created an art project for a new-build school in Teteringen.
With 441 kids and their 45 teachers Alice created the largest children group portrait in the world. The kids represent the past, the present and the future. One third of the kids replayed old photographs. One third of the kids represent nowadays. And one third expresses their dreams for the future. All of them were photographed in a temporary studio in the gymnasium of the school, after which Wielinga montaged all images together into one artwork of 54 meters that is mounted on the floors of the new school building.
